Does Nico Rosberg still believe in the title?

Nico Rosberg had a chance to respond to Lewis Hamilton at the Japanese GP held on September 27 at Suzuka. But after winning pole, the German ceded the lead of the race to his rival for the title straight out of the first turn. The German driver had already failed to significantly reduce his delay by taking advantage of the Briton's retirement in Singapore since he only took fourth place at Marina Bay.

While Nico Rosberg only has five races left with the Russian GP contested this October 11 in Sochi to reduce his 48-point gap on Lewis Hamilton, the German affirms that he still believes in it and that he intends to complicate the task of his teammate. “I’m not going to give up on the title fight. Even if my delay on Lewis is quite significant, it’s clearly not over in my head… I have the car to get back to the first step”, he said.

Nico Rosberg will have to hurry, his last success dating back to the Austrian GP contested in Spielberg last June. The German must especially be wary of Sebastian Vettel which is only 11 units behind the second pilot Mercedes.
