If Nico Rosberg has lost his last chance of being titled, the German will be keen to do well at the end of the season, notably with the Mexican GP.

Nico Rosberg for honor at the Mexican GP

Nico Rosberg failed to fend off his teammate's coronation Lewis Hamilton last weekend in Austin (Texas), the Briton won to win a third world title. If the German's frustration was clearly visible, he will be able to aim for another victory this weekend at the Mexican GP where the teams will operate in the unknown, the last meeting on the Hermanos Rodriguez circuit dating back to 1992 with the success by Nigel Mansell on Williams-Renault.

“The Championship is over for me this year, but I still have three races left to attack, finish the season on a good note and come back from the disappointment of these last races”, commented Nico Rosberg. “My first chance will be in Mexico… My father (Keke) rode here in the 1980s (in 1986 with McLaren, retirement) and he will be able to give me some advice... even if the circuit and the cars have changed a lot. Some engineers may be familiar with it, but these parameters have evolved so much that it's like starting from scratch. »
