Nico Rosberg reacts following meeting with Hamilton

Today, a meeting was held between the management of the stable Mercedes, made of Toto wolff and Paddy Lowe and the two pilots Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The German admitted his responsibility for the incident and apologized. Mercedes implemented disciplinary measures, and Rosberg spoke out on his Facebook account.

“In the days since the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what happened during the race and discussing it with the team. I have already expressed my regret over the incident but, after meeting with Toto, Paddy and Lewis today, I want to go further and describe what happened as an error of judgment on my part . The number one rule for us as teammates is that we shouldn't collide, but that's exactly what happened. For this error in judgment, I apologize to Lewis and the team. I also want to apologize to the fans who were deprived of our battle for first place in Belgium. Lewis and I have been given clear instructions on how we will race against each other. Like the drivers, we have a clear responsibility to the team, the sports fans, our partners and Mercedes-Benz to deliver a clean race. We take this responsibility very seriously. I look forward to wrapping up the season with fair but fierce competition on and off the track until the final round of the season in Abu Dhabi. »

Nico Rosberg has not spoken about the disciplinary measures taken by Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton has not yet given his reaction.
