Nico Rosberg on a good pace at Barcelona testing

Nico Rosberg was effective at the end of the morning of testing on the first day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona (Spain). The last winner of the Spanish GP completed the best lap in 1'24"374 on unmarked tires, beating by 3 tenths his performance which allowed him to take pole. The German was also the most active with 75 laps covered.

Raffaele marciello is the closest on the Ferrari with more than 2 seconds late and 54 laps completed. Pastor Maldonado completes the top three on the Lotus. Daniil Kvyat is 4th after being the least diligent with only 20 loops on the clock. Pierre Gasly completes the top five on the Toro Rosso after completing 60 laps.

Marcus Ericsson is in 6th place after encountering some problems with his Sauber. The Swede precedes Nick yelloly (Force India) who replaced the ailing Pascal Wehrlein. Oliver Turney is 9th with 31 covered laps on the McLaren which has many developments. Felipe Massa brings up the rear with the Williams. As a reminder, Manor F1 Team does not participate in trials.
