Targets revised upwards for Force India

By finishing fifth in the Manufacturers' standings in 2015, Force India achieved its best result in its history. With the duo Nico Hulkenberg ? Sergio Pérez, Vijay Mallya's team has long struggled with Lotus F1 Team before taking over the structure ofenstone in the latter part of the season.

Main points provider in 2015 with 78 points, and a third place in Russia, the only podium of the year for Force India, Sergio Pérez hopes to do at least as well in 2016. “The important thing is to continue to grow as a team, specifies the Mexican. We showed we can do it this year and I hope it's a sign of more things to come in the future.

Expectations are really high after what we did in 2015: repeating this fifth place must be our minimum objective, although it will not be easy, and we must aim higher. It's going to take a lot of effort to do it, and it's important to be competitive from the start of the season, in the first Grands Prix where anything can happen.

There will be a lot of teams trying to beat us, but I know we can leave them behind and challenge those ahead of us. »
