Pat Fry appointed technical director at Renault

Renault F1 Team has confirmed the arrival of Pat Fry as technical director of the Chassis department. The British engineer who had previously worked at McLaren replace Nick Chester who left the Losange at the end of the last season.

The Losange fundamentally reorganized its team at the end of the last season where it finished in 5th place, a good distance from the client team McLaren.

Pat Fry will notably work alongside Dirk de Beer from Williams who was appointed head of the aerodynamics department.
