Paul di Resta makes his mark in F1

Paul di Resta learns quickly, very quickly in fact. The champion DTM in title quickly found his bearings in single-seaters. Some were skeptical about the adaptation of the Scotsman, but it is clear that the latter has his place in Formula 1. He even allows himself to regularly get ahead of his teammate Adrian Sutil, even though he is more experienced in the discipline.

Paul di Resta is anything but a novice in car. In 2006, he won the title in F3 Euroseries, in front of a certain Sbastian Hag. The German had better luck starting in a top team, but it is rumored that the Scot has nothing to envy him in terms of performance. Still, at the wheel of his Force India, the protégé of Mercedes makes sparks.

“I couldn't have hoped for better today and it's nice to get into Q3
, underlines the nephew of Dario Franchitti. After missing the second day of testing yesterday, we knew it was going to be difficult this morning. We've had a small upgrade here and it's definitely improved our performance. Our race pace doesn't seem too bad, so fingers crossed we can take a few points tomorrow like we have in the previous two grands prix. »
