Paul Tracy rams Bourdais

“I'm not surprised that he was thrown out,” says the Canadian on his personal blog. “This guy symbolized despair even when he had the best car and won everything. With his results over the last 18 months, he must have been unbearable. He?s a great driver but I imagine his attitude doesn?t encourage a team to solve its problems. »

And Paul Tracy doesn't stop there: “I dream of being able to compete against him again but I would perhaps be disgusted to see him sign a contract while I have been working like crazy for months to ensure the promotion of the discipline, that I help the organizers to sell tickets and that I can't find a steering wheel! »

Paul Tracy was champion in Champ Car in 2003 before Sébastien Bourdais has four consecutive titles. Their rivalry remains symbolized by an altercation in Denver in 2006 after a “manly” attack from Tracy in the last corner of the last lap. The two pilots had gotten out of their car to come to blows.
