First official outing on a Grand Prix for Latifi in Canada

While he was initially supposed to debut the new VJM11 during the winter tests in Barcelona, the Canadian had to wait until the testing session organized after the Spanish Grand Prix due to health concerns at the start of the season.

The 22-year-old Canadian, who is playing his third campaign this season Formula 2 with DAMS, is now preparing to return to the cockpit of the Force India in Montreal.

« Taking part in FP1 for my national Grand Prix will represent one of the most memorable moments of my career, I am sure of it, reacted Latifs. I'm going to take full advantage of it but I'm mainly here to do my job and give the team the best possible feedback to help them refine the program for the rest of the weekend. ».

The Toronto native recently made the news through his father Michael Latifi, who took a stake in the capital of McLaren up to 10% and 232,5 million.
