First images for Leclerc’s “Grand Rendez-vous” in Monaco in a Ferrari

The 2020 Monaco Grand Prix did not take place this Sunday, May 24, but a red flash still flashed at 240 km/h in the streets of the Principality in the early morning. Charles Leclerc piloted the Ferrari SF90 Stradale for the sake of a short film by Claude Lelouch, the release of which is expected on June 13.

 

 

christened “The Great Meeting”, the short film will feature the Scuderia Ferrari driver aboard the Italian racing car on the Monaco circuit. Obviously, the streets of the route were closed to traffic while on-board cameras were mounted inside and on the body of the Ferrari.

According to the first videos, Charles Leclerc had a heavy foot! Even his rival in the Grands Prix Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) was able to admire the performance from his Monaco apartment.

 

Director Claude Lelouch is well known to fans of beautiful cars for having created the incredible short film " It was a meeting " in 1976. Also filmed at dawn, the film allowed you to admire an on-board camera located on the hood of a Mercedes being driven at full speed through Paris! The sound of the engine had been replaced by that of a Ferrari 275 GTB:
