First crash tests for Lotus

The Lotus team F1 released a press release to announce that the first private tests had begun. The shell has been tested for side and frontal impacts.

Following this first test, the vertical line of the nose which must remain intact during the FIA ​​test was not modified.

Lotus must still pass the official crash tests of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile before being authorized to appear on the track.

For its part, the car from the Campos Meta team (manufactured by Dallara) has already successfully passed the FIA ​​frontal and side crash tests.
