Kimi Räikkönen experienced a two-stage recovery this Wednesday in Barcelona. The 2007 World Champion was only able to complete a few installation laps this morning due to checks carried out by the Team Ferrari on the fuel system of its SF16-H.

Nothing to disturb the former Lotus driver, who quickly showed himself at the forefront after the break, climbing into the leading trio, before finally finishing in third position behind the duo Hulkenberg ? Grosjean.

An encouraging first contact for Räikkönen who expects real progress in relation to the car 2015. « I'm sure we will have a better car than last year, Iceman points out.

There are always small changes from one car to another, they are never the same. We have improvements in many areas since last season. We are happy so far, although we know there is still much to do.

It was a shame to lose time today, but we always try to do our best. There are always mistakes, but we always want to improve and learn from them. » Räikkönen will be lined up again by Ferrari tomorrow in Catalonia for the last day of the first week of pre-season testing.
