Red Bull and Toro Rosso against Ferrari

After Williams, stables Red Bull also announced their reluctance to let Michael Schumacher test the Ferrari F60 before the trip to Valencia.

Helmut Marko, who oversees motorsport for Red Bull, took no gloves in the columns of an Austrian newspaper to explain the position of the energy drink giant: “Schumacher?s experience is enough for him to be competitive very quickly, even with a new car. Allowing him to carry out tests is not in the spirit of the regulations. And we're not the only ones who think that! »

Red Bull, the team which certainly benefits the most from the testing ban this season, therefore defends the new regulations and takes a little revenge following the refusal to let Alguersuari ride with the STR4 before his debut in Hungary.
