Red Bull stays on track

The announcement of the continuation of the collaboration between Renault et Red Bull Racing, via a Power Unit rebadged in the name of Tag Heuer, took place at the very end of 2015. A long wait after several negotiations attempted with Ferrari in particular, which does not seem to have disrupted the development planning of the future car of Milton Keynes.

“We are fortunate to be very familiar with the Power Unit we will be using, so working on the package was relatively straightforward in that regard,
comments Jonathan Wheatley, Team Manager of Red Bull Racing on GPUpdate.net. I spoke with the head designer recently and things are ahead of schedule. »

Red Bull is also awaiting developments from Renault, such as Dr Helmut Marko recently indicated. The French firm has been working in particular for several weeks with Mario Illien from Illmor.
