Renault: Charouz makes his mark

Jan Charouz, winner of the Les Mans Series with Aston Martin in 2009, change of environment this season. The Czech driver, who will participate in the Formula championship Renault 3.5 Series, is part of the Renault F1 Driver Program. The Czech was able to meet the entire team and chat with the two regular drivers of the Renault F1 Team, Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov. “ It was really a great day, comments Charouz. Throughout the day, I was able to attend the radio communications between the drivers and their pits, I attended the meetings between the drivers and the engineers, which is interesting and beneficial for me. It was a superb experience. In addition, the team worked in a good atmosphere to achieve these times. After last season, no one expected them to be the fastest in Valencia, so they are happy with these results. »

Jan Charouz was made official on Sunday as a driver in the Renault F1 Driver Program but was unable to be present at the presentation of the Renault R30 and its drivers.
