Renault reassures about the state of health of its injured driver

Renault F1 Team has indicated that its driver who was injured during a journey to Hungary has left hospital. Preparation for the Hungarian race should not be affected by the accident according to the French team.

Renault reassures about the state of health of its injured driver

More fear than harm, and good news in the Renault clan F1 Team: the driver injured during the transfer between Germany and Hungary last Monday left the hospital on the road to recovery and returned home. The French team confirmed the evolution of the situation of its employee in a press release this Thursday.

The driver of the Team truck involved in an accident in Hungary on Monday continues to make good progress & has returned home. The goods transported were not damaged & our preparations for the #HungarianGP have not been affected. We look forward to getting the weekend underway.

Less important than the driver's state of health, the team also clarified that the items transported in the truck had not been damaged, and that preparation for the Hungarian Grand Prix, contested this weekend, was not would not be disturbed.
