Renault will present an RS 2027 Vision concept

Since 1977, Renault played a major role in F1, both through its presence as a full-fledged team and through its activity as an engine manufacturer. The French brand, which returned at the start of last year as a manufacturer, will take advantage of the celebrations of its 40 years of involvement in the category to unveil a concept evoking its vision of the future for F1.

It is at the Shanghai Motor Show in China, on April 19, that the Diamond brand will unveil RS 2027 Vision. “This concept car also underlines the brand’s long-term commitment to this discipline. Renault wants to play a major role in the evolution of a competition at the heart of which the driver finds his place. » specifies the French firm.

Launched as a continuation of the new wave of concept cars inaugurated by TREZOR, RS 2027 Vision must also mark the links between production of series cars and competition, which Renault already achieves between its electric range and its commitment to Formula e.

McLaren had proposed a concept at the end of 2015, called MP4-X.
