Red Bull has rarely been at ease in Monza (Italy), scene of the next trip of the Formula 1 (September 1-2). “Only” two victories for the Anglo-Austrian team were achieved, in 2011 and 2013 during the ultra-dominant seasons of Sebastian Vettel. Daniel Ricciardo will have a hard time reversing this trend, sincehe will have to start from the back of the grid in 2018.

The Australian will benefit in return a new engine block Renault, the “C” version developed during the year by engineers from Viruses-Châtillon (Essonne). The objective is to maximize the chances of the future Renault driver during the following Grand Prix, in Singapore (September 15-16).
It’s Christian Horner, Red Bull’s team principal, who says it. “Singapore is probably our next opportunity to make it harder for Ferrari and Mercedes ». The Red Bulls perform better on winding circuits that require little top speed, which is the case on the Asian track.
As for Daniel Ricciardo, the road to the podium looks difficult, he who is no longer on the box since his victorious Monaco Grand Prix last May.
