Romain Grosjean: “I want more in Bahrain”

It was definitely a “without” weekend for Romain Grosjean. Cornered by problems on Friday and Saturday during free practice, the Frenchman had to settle for sixth place during qualifying as best performance at the Chinese Grand Prix. His 9th position obtained during the race is far from the top 5 he was aiming for before the start. “It was a long and complicated race and once again we are not able to do what we wanted”, deplores the Lotus driver. “I'm really not happy with my 9th place, we started from 6th and thought we had a good chance of finishing in the top five, unfortunately we didn't make it”, he explains. A result all the harder to swallow since his teammate, Kimi Räikkönen, finished in second place.

“I did everything I could, but I couldn't get the performance I wanted and being in traffic obviously affected all that”, continues Romain Grosjean, before discussing the next step: “It was good to score a few points for the team, but I want more in Bahrain for sure! »
