Since the Monaco Grand Prix last year, Romain Grosjean had no longer won points in F1. Fifteen waiting races which finally came to an end this Sunday, with a seventh place achieved in China.
“It’s the best we could do today and it’s satisfying to have scored the team’s first points of the season, comments the Frenchman after the finish. It wasn't an easy circuit for us, but we had a good start, and most of the stints were good too. We did a good job improving the car race after race. The next test could be promising too. »
A result welcomed with enthusiasm, especially since Pastor Maldonado did not see the finish of the race. Already a victim of his brakes earlier in the race (and a mistake when rushing into the pit lane), the Venezuelan was involved in a clash with Jenson Button and was forced to abandon a few moments later.
