Rosberg expects a lot from developments

He started the season in thunderous fashion. Fifth in Bahrain and Australia, third in Malaysia and China, Nico Rosberg had proven to the leaders of Mercedes GP that they were not wrong to trust him. Subsequently, Nico was more discreet, nevertheless finishing fifth again in Turkey. Mercedes GP took advantage of the arrival on the old continent to significantly evolve its W01. Changes appreciated by Michael Schumacher but a little less by his young teammate.

“This will be the third visit of the Formula 1 in Valencia, and I'm really looking forward to being there, says the ex-pilot Williams. The city is really nice and the Spanish fans are always very enthusiastic. There should therefore be a very friendly atmosphere around the marina. Valencia is a very interesting route, different from a traditional city circuit. There are a lot of turns but it's quite fast. The barriers along the circuit force you to always stay very focused. The last race in Canada was difficult for us, but I'm happy to have been able to finish sixth after finding myself 13th after the first lap. Our pace was good during the race and I hope that the developments received in Valencia will allow us to progress even further?

At Mercedes GP, the whole team works hard to try to get closer to the Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull. But in the retros of the two silver arrows, one car yellow emblazoned with the logo Renault becomes more and more threatening. Let's hope that this European Grand Prix will allow the W01s to regain their health. Apparently the developments made so far have not yet had the expected success.
