Rosberg still needs to improve on a flying lap

The first day of testing for the Italian Grand Prix was unsurprisingly dominated by Mercedes where its W07 Hybrids are at ease on the fast Monza track. Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were the fastest during the two practice sessions with a best lap to go to the title of the triple world champion who beat his teammate by two tenths.

" There car was competitive during the first practice session, but we still have to work on the balance this evening because I was not yet 100% comfortable on a flying lap this afternoon”, explained the German.

Lewis Hamilton, for his part, seems to have had no problems this Friday. “It was a very good day. We made good progress during the two sessions and our pace on the long stints seems positive. We swapped tires with Nico to learn as much as possible for qualifying and the race and we look very strong. »
