Rosberg: The hardest part is done now

If Nico Rosberg was never directly threatened in the Chinese Grand Prix, the driver Mercedes also feared losing performance with his tires, as was the case with Kimi Räikkönen at the end of the race. The German assures that tire management was the key to his victory. ?It was just a matter of tire management and it was very difficult to keep them. There wasn't a single lap where I could rush. You always had to be very careful. But in the end it worked and the strategy turned out to be perfect. »

This victory could free Nico Rosberg, who had a trying end to the race with this success in focus. The son of the former world champion hopes to win others quickly. “It was the longest race of my life, it was like I was doing the 24 Hours of Le Mans », added the Mercedes driver. “It was crazy, the last 30 laps were endless. But I still enjoyed the very last loops because I said to myself “OK, this victory is mine”. It's great to see how quickly we've progressed. Niki Lauda said that the first victory is the most difficult to achieve and that after that it becomes easier. It would be fantastic if that is indeed the case. »
