Ross Brawn returns to F1 with Liberty Media

From the month of November, rumors of a return to F1 for Ross Brawn in a role of responsibility alongside the acquisition of the discipline by Liberty Media, had emerged. The main person concerned had only then confirmed that he was carrying out a little consulting work for the American firm.

The Briton will, however, be well involved in the new structure set up by Liberty Media, which confirmed the effective takeover of F1 and the replacement of Bernie Ecclestone with Chase Carey as CEO. The former resident of the Team Ferrari has been entrusted with immediate effect the new position of Director Motor Sports.

In addition to Ross Brawn, Liberty Media has confirmed the arrival of American Sean Bratches as director of commercial operations. Bratches has notably officiated on the marketing plan on behalf of ESPN in the past.
