Schumacher must undergo medical tests

The rumor of the return of Michael Schumacher swells a little more every day. If on the side of the protagonists, we refuse to make any comments, for the German press, there would only be a few details left to settle before the signing of the contract with Mercedes GP.

Michael Schumacher has just taken a further step by receiving the agreement of Luca di Montezemolo, the boss of Ferrari to work with another team. (See elsewhere) After overcoming this obstacle, however, he must overcome a second one: his neck. There are therefore still some uncertainties concerning the latter and its ability to resist the piloting of a F1. After being the victim of a motorcycle accident last February, Schumacher had to give up replacing Felipe Massa in the F60 seat for the end of the 2009 season because of the neck which was causing him pain.

According to the German press, the Red Baron is expected to undergo examinations at the Bad Nauheim sports clinic this week to find out if he would be able to take on the physical challenge. If Willi Weber, the pilot's manager assures that ?Schumi? is doing well, however, caution should be exercised. Doctor Johannes Peil indicated last August that the injury from which the German suffered could be healed? in three weeks, in three months or in three years. »

If he manages to successfully pass this last test, nothing would seem to stand in the way of the arrival of the Red Baron in the silver house led by Ross Brawn.
