After a long series of abandonments, Michael Schumacher found some color in Valencia by getting on the podium for the first time with the Silver Arrows. But the seven-time world champion will not have much time to enjoy it, with the British Grand Prix already looming. The German has had various fortunes on the Silverstone circuit but still intends to place himself at the forefront on the British circuit. After having signed two ninth places with the star manufacturer, the former world champion does not want to make predictions in a season where results are particularly unpredictable.
“Riding at Silverstone is always one of the highlights of the season”, comments Michael Schumacher who has four podiums and three victories at Silverstone. “It is quite simply the temple of motorsport and I am always surprised by the knowledge and enthusiasm of the British spectators. Personally, I have mixed memories of this circuit, some are good, others are less so, and others are even a little strange, just like how this season went. We have already seen plenty of races this year where the outcome was very different from what was predicted. Obviously, I will do everything to continue the momentum of Valencia's good result at Silverstone. It goes without saying that we want to offer Brackley and Brixworth a result they can be proud of. »
