Sebastian Vettel not worried after lackluster testing

See Sebastian Vettel so poorly classified at the end of the first day of free practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix could give rise to a wave of concern within the Team Ferrari and fans of the four-time German world champion.

However, despite his 10th and 11th place this Friday in the streets of Baku, the German driver does not seem to show any clear disappointment and recognizes his responsibility in these mixed rankings.

“It’s a difficult track, but it’s difficult for all of us, comments Vettel in the paddock. I think I struggled a little more than the others but I'm not too worried. Towards the end I had a good read on the situation and I think we can improve tomorrow. It's a little difficult to find a rhythm.

This concerns me first and foremost and I think the car is fine. I didn't sequence the laps well and that can happen very easily here with small braking errors. Long runs were much better. »

The performances of Kimi Räikkönen, second in free practice 2 less than a tenth of Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) also offer good hopes to Sebastian Vettel, who intends to return to the top 3 in Baku after his Chinese setbacks.
