Sebastian Vettel: Not a decision against Red Bull

After six seasons spent with Red Bull Racing, crowned with four consecutive world titles between 2010 and 2013, the German Sebastian Vettel will move in 2015 to Ferrari, to replace Fernando Alonso

“Such a decision is not made overnight.
indicates the four-time world champion. It's a big step that you don't take without thinking about it from every possible angle. In recent years there have always been options to go elsewhere, but I never had the real need to consider them, because I was very happy at Red Bull. But as the years go by, you feel the need to do something new and you follow that path. But to be clear: this was not a decision against Red Bull Racing, but a decision for something new. And, of course, a childhood dream comes true. »

For Vettel who admitted to having been a supporter of Schumacher during his Ferrari period, this transfer remains special. “A pilot who said otherwise would probably be lying a little. People everywhere will tell you that winning in a Ferrari is something special. »

The 27-year-old driver will experience a final race under the colors of the red bull in Abu Dhabi this Sunday after a difficult season. “Having technical problems throughout the year was complicated. But that's life, sometimes you have to go through awkward moments after fantastic times. The future should be brighter. »
