Sebastian Vettel does it again at Sepang

Despite an SREC out of use, the Red Bull flanked by n°1 has not once been worried by its competitors. Starting from pole, Sebastian Vettel leads the grand prix from start to finish.

The battle for runners-up turned out to be a little more lively. Jenson Button secures second position, as for Nick Heidfeld, he offers Lotus-Renault his second podium of the season, after that of Vitaly Petrov in Melbourne. Robert Kubica's replacement got off to a flying start: from sixth place on the grid, he moved up to second place. A few laps from the finish, he resisted the attacks of Mark Webber.

The Ferrari by Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso finished in 5th and 6th position respectively. Once in contention for the podium, the Spanish driver lost all his chances during a hazardous overtaking attempt on Lewis Hamilton. Broken front wing for the Ferrari driver, forced to return to the pits. The pilot McLaren, in trouble with his tires at the very end of the relay, had to change them and finished 7th.

At Mercedes, it's the grimace soup. Michael Schumacher scores the two points for 9th place, while Nico Rosberg only finishes 12th.
