Sergio Perez did not feel completely recovered during the first free practice session of the Canadian GP and preferred to give up his place to Pedro de la Rosa, reserve driver of McLaren. The Mexican missed his second race in a row, but he assures that he is ready to compete in the European GP in Valencia, which will be held next weekend.
Sergio Perez is preparing physically to be fully recovered for next weekend's race. “I returned to Mexico where I am preparing to compete in the next race by training with my physiotherapist”, commented the Sauber driver. “I feel very good and I can't wait to ride in Valencia. »
The Mexican hopes to be able to mark his return with a good result on a track where he has often shone in his career. “Without a doubt, it will be an advantage that I know the circuit well. In 2009, I was on the podium in both GP2 Series races and I took pole there last year. »
