Excitement is at its peak in Singapore at the end of September 2008! This flagship Grand Prix of the season, the first in the history of the Formula 1 to be fought at night, is the fruit of the desire of the city-state, wishing to stand out by offering a unique event, and of Bernie Ecclestone, former big money manager of F1 who wants to extend the calendar while keeping the same time distribution in European homes. The contract is signed for five years, and the Grand Prix takes the name “The Night Race!” » (“The Night Race!”).

Not sure that nighttime GPs will survive the energy problem that is rearing its ugly head in a more virtuous 2.0 world!! In any case, I won't miss these illuminated GPs on 100% artificial tracks if they were to disappear...
