Ferrari simulator: Hartley, Wehrlein, Fuoco and Rigon united

Ultimately, four drivers will take turns in the Scuderia simulator during the upcoming season in order to contribute to the development of the in-house car.

Already anticipated, pascal wehrlein, 24, is confirmed. The German, who competed in 39 Grands Prix with Manor in 2016 and Sauber in 2017, will do most of the work with Brendon Hartley, 29 years, who was at Toro Rosso last year – 25 GPs contested. If the recruitment of the New Zealander is more surprising, it is justified by the great technical background of the World Champion WEC 2015/2017 – et vainqueur des 24 Heures en Mans en 2017 – forgé au sein du programme Porsche.    

 

Long-time member of the Driver Academy, Antonio Fuoco, 22, joins the team after a good season in F2 last year – victory in Abu Dhabi. To ensure technical continuity, Davide rigon, 32, who has been working in the in-house simulator since 2014 in addition to his work as an official GT driver, is back for a sixth season.
