Steiner: “We know Grosjean’s weaknesses”

If Haas F1 Team is having a difficult season occupying the penultimate place in the championship, the American team will keep its crew made up of Romain Grosjean et Kevin Magnussen for 2020. The Frenchman sees his future assured whilehe was in danger for the next season and that he has defended the colors of Haas for 4 years.

Günther Steiner explained that the choice was dictated by the desire to maintain a stable team, even if the team's Team Principal did not fail to throw some barbs at his driver.

“Should I also talk about his weaknesses? Where should I start?…, he said at a press conference. Romain has been with us for a long time and by observing the situation we established that the drivers were not the problem. The problems come from car. So we decided to focus our efforts on that and leave other things stable. So we extended it for another year. »

“We know his weaknesses, added the Haas F1 Team director. Many people know that he has moments where he is very strong and others where he has big slumps. We must hope that this will change.
