The stewards of the 2022 United States Grand Prix have confirmed what the onboard images had suggested. Namely that Lance stroll is responsible for the huge collision involving his Aston Martin and l'Alpine de Fernando Alonso, fortunately not serious.

After the restart following a first neutralization, the Spaniard had closed greatly on the Canadian in the opposite straight of the Circuit of the Americas. While Alonso was preparing to move to the left to pass his future teammate at Aston, the latter made a similar movement at the very last moment in defense.

Surprised, Alonso was unable to avoid contact. The Iberian then took off on Stroll's rear wing before hitting the safety barriers. Quite incredibly, the double world champion managed to return to the pits and then finish the race in the points, in 7th place!

As for Stroll, he had to retire immediately, his rear wing torn off.

Summoned by the stewards of the US GP, the Aston Martin driver suffered a drop of 3 places on the starting grid for the next Grand Prix, which will take place this weekend in Mexico.

Stroll also receives 2 penalty points on his FIA license.

Dropping 3 places in Mexico and only 2 points removed from his FIA license is frankly making fun of the world for such dangerous behavior! Yes but his name is Stroll like the boss of Aston Martin Aramco, Aramco being one of the main sponsors of F1, this certainly explains it!

It's not a lot to pay for such dangerous behavior...
