After Spa and Monza, Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) will start from pole for the third time in a row after winning qualifying for the Singapore GP on the Marina Bay street circuit. The Monegasque will leave alongside Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) whose last success dates back to the Hungarian GP. The second line will consist of Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) only starting from 5th position.

Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) will start from 11th row while his compatriot Romain Grosjean (Haas) will have to do his best from 17th position.

If Sergio Pérez (Racing Point) had to fall back 5 places and found himself 15th, Daniel Ricciardo (Renault) will have to start from the back of the grid after having disqualified for a technical infraction.

Last year, Lewis Hamilton won ahead of Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel in the same order as at the start.
