Author of the 98th pole position of his career this Saturday, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) is the big favorite for this 17th edition of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Untouchable in qualifying, the now seven-time world champion should also be untouchable in the race this Sunday.

His teammate Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen (Red Bull) could therefore once again suffer the domination of the Briton, on another planet for many years now.

Outside of the Top 3, it is the battle at the rear which should liven up this Bahrain Grand Prix. Indeed, in the fight for third place Manufacturers, Sergio Pérez (Racing Point), the Renaults of Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon or even Lando Norris (McLaren) could offer a great show on the Sakhir track. A fight in which Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat could get involved on their Alpha Tauri.

Exiting in Q2, the Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel (11th) and Charles Leclerc (12th) will have to show realism this Sunday if they want to move up the rankings.

19th on the starting grid, Romain Grosjean, suffering at the wheel of his Haas, does not hope for much from this Bahrain Grand Prix other than another race that will unfortunately take a back seat.
