Susie Wolff, first woman in the Race of Champions

Susie Wolff will be traveling on December 13 and 14 to the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados (Caribbean) where the next edition of the Race of Champions will be contested. The development pilot of Williams Racing will thus become the first woman to participate in this event where the best motorsport competitors on the planet compete face to face. The Scotswoman will fight against Tom Kristensen, Romain Grosjean, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Jamie Whincup and Petter Solberg who have confirmed their presence.

“I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel”, commented Susie Wolff, seen this season in free practice at Silverstone (Great Britain) and Hockenheim (Germany). “I have a full-time job at Williams which is great, but nothing can replace the adrenaline of racing and I can't wait to get that back. I am proud to have been chosen for the Race of Champions. I don't have any specific goals because I've never competed in the ROC before. I haven't been to Barbados either, but December is not the worst time to go out in the sun. »
