Abu Dhabi test – Best time for Nyck de Vries

After a dominated morning by Pato O'Ward (McLaren), the single-seaters of F1 were back this afternoon at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. Nyck de Vries distinguished himself by setting the best time (1'23″194). At the wheel of his Mercedes, the Dutchman was far ahead ofAlpha Tauri by Liam Lawson (1’24″517) and Oscar piastri in Alpine (1’24″523). The Mexican who set the best time this morning is in 4th position (1'24″607), ahead of Guanyu-Zhou, newcomer to Alfa Romeo who completes the top 5 (1'25″142). 

At the same time as the rookie tests, the Formula 1 drivers were on the circuit to test the new 18-inch Pirelli tires which will come into force from 2022. This Tuesday morning, it's Lance stroll who was the fastest. But the Canadian is only in 9th place (1'26″579), behind Daniel Ricciardo who sets the best time among all those who put on the new tires (1'26″252). The Australian is behind Juri Vips (1'25″198) and Nick Yelloly with his Aston Martin (1'25″198).

In 10th place we find Robert Shwartzman who drove for Ferrari (1'26″694) in front of his teammate Charles Leclerc (1'26″989). Valtteri Bottas who discovers his car Alfa Romeo is 12th (1'27″183), closely followed by Antonio Fuoco (1'27″324). Yuki tsunoda arrives in 14th place (1'27″348), Logan sargeant is 15th (1'27″476) and Esteban Ocon finds himself in 16th position (1'27″553). Max Verstappen (1’28″013), George Russell (1’28″062) and Mick Schumacher (1'28″499) bring up the rear.

I have rarely seen such a poorly written article, we simply don't understand it... Use a ranking table instead of trying to act like a journalist.
