Trulli: “We are not going to give up”

Does this third place satisfy you?
“To be honest, I was disappointed at the finish because we had qualified well and our ambitions were high. We thought we could fight for victory. So I was expecting more than a third place. The best lap in the race shows the potential of the car »

Is this also proof that the team is progressing?
" Indeed. Being disappointed when we get on the podium is a very different feeling from previous seasons. Last year, we were on the podium at Magny-Cours even though it had been very difficult to approach this position for several seasons. We have reached a milestone. With three podiums in four races, we have already done as well as the last three years. »

Pensez-vous que l?équipe Toyota pourra conserver ce rythme lors du retour de la F1 in Europe ?
?I really believe that we have a good chance of being competitive all season long even though we know that we have to continue to work hard. The car is really competitive and we are fully focused on the rest of the season to continue to fight at the front. Naturally, historically successful teams have a great capacity to develop their cars. We are not going to give up anything. I have faith in my team. »
