According to Autosport, Bernie Ecclestone plans to remove the Turkish GP from next season's calendar and move the Bahrain GP to November in order to allow the Bahraini government more time to restore the political situation in his country. The opening Grand Prix would thus be replaced by the Australian GP, which would regain its status as the inaugural race of the new season. F1.
The US GP in Austin could also be moved. Initially scheduled for June, the very high temperatures in Texas at this time of year have raised many criticisms. Bernie Ecclestone could move him before the Brazilian GP which will close the 2012 season.
These measures are not yet official but they should be submitted at the next FIA World Council if the teams do not oppose them.
