Max Verstappen: “There’s nothing I can do to stop the fans from whistling Hamilton”

Lewis Hamilton risk of not being applauded much this weekend in Zandvoort. The British driver arrives in “enemy lands”, with the added bonus of the coveted place as leader of the world championship.  His rival Max Verstappen he released himself from all responsibility before the start of the tests: “ There's nothing I can do to stop the fans from whistling Hamilton. I can ask them not to do it, but do you think they will listen to me? »

The pilot Red Bull compared the orange tide that will invade the stands of the circuit to the fans of a football club: “ When you go to play an away match, the home fans whistle at you. It's not up to the club or the announcer to say "don't do it", because these are natural things. » 

Lewis Hamilton is therefore warned, he will have to face one driver on the track but thousands off it.
