Verstappen returns to pole at the Brazilian GP

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) signed the second pole of his career. After his qualifying victory in Hungary, the Dutchman will start from first on the grid for the Brazilian GP, ​​having been ahead by more than a tenth. Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) finished in 4th place, but the Monegasque will have to move back 10 places on the grid following his engine change. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) will therefore complete the second row in front Alexander albon (Red Bull) and Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso). Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo) will start from 7th place between the Haas de Romain Grosjean et Kevin Magnussen. The Top 10 will start on soft tires.

Lando Norris (McLaren) was the first eliminated from Q2, failing to be a hundredth behind Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo). The British preceded Daniel Ricciardo (Renault), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo) and Nico Hulkenberg (Renault), while Sergio Pérez (Racing Point) completed the session rankings.

Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) was the first eliminated from Q1, failing 3 hundredths behind Sergio Pérez (Racing Point). Lance stroll (Racing Point) followed in 17th place ahead of Williams of George Russell and Robert Kubica, the Pole being condemned to the back of the grid following a change of chassis following his accident in testing.

Carl's Sainz Jr (McLaren) was unable to set any time. After suffering from power losses, his team decided not to send him back to the track.
