Vettel happy despite the rain

Even though his first day of testing at the wheel of the RB6 took place in the rain in Jerez, Sebastian Vettel was happy to get back on the track.

After two days during which Mark Webber began testing the Red Bull RB6, Sebastian Vettel was able to get behind the wheel of the new car from the stable of Milton Keynes, Friday. Vice-world champion in 2009, the German driver was happy to return to the track.

« After three months it was good to come back and drive the car, said “Baby Schumi”. I felt good and we didn?t encounter any problems. Obviously, the weather was not ideal for us to learn more about the car. » Indeed, on Friday, the rain was present on the track for most of the day.

« It rained all day but you can encounter these conditions at a Grand Prix, so it?s important to do laps on a wet circuit, lucidly recognizes the Red Bull driver. In the end, we didn't do much due to the weather but I was still quite happy. »
