Sebastian Vettel did not show confidence in his Ferrari after the first day of testing for the Spanish GP. The German remains optimistic for the future.

Vettel does not feel “in control” of his Ferrari

Sebastian Vettel was quite behind during the first tests of the Spanish GP on the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona. The pilot of the Team Ferrari finished behind teammate Kimi Räikkönen in both sessions today, finishing 4th this afternoon, a tenth behind the leading SF70-H and 4 tenths behind the benchmark set by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).

“I am not satisfied with the outcome of these tests, admitted Sebastian Vettel in the paddock of the Spanish GP. I struggle to find the right rhythm and I endure the conditions, probably more than my car. I still feel that she has potential. I'm not worried, just unhappy with my day.
