Vettel would be 'happy' for Hamilton but 'sad' for Schumacher

There is a feeling of a record hanging over the Sochi autodrome. This weekend and in case of victory only, Lewis Hamilton has the opportunity to equal the record of 91 successes previously held by Michael Schumacher. A subject on everyone's lips in the paddock.

Present at a press conference this Thursday, Sebastian Vettel logically did not escape questions concerning this famous mark of 91 victories that Lewis Hamilton can reach this Sunday. If he thought " impossible to reach » this record, the quadruple champion could only bow to his English counterpart.

« Lewis is getting closer and closer to this record and this was predictable given his performances in recent years. I think if he achieves it, which is only a matter of time right now, I would be sad because Michael is still my hero.

On the other hand I would be very happy for Lewis. I think he deserves all the success he has had in recent years and that he will have in the future if he continues » underlines a Sebastian Vettel to the “ shared feelings » that he says he feels.
