For the first time in its history, the Formula 1 set down in Qatar and more precisely on the Losail route. This Friday, the drivers had the opportunity to discover the track during the first free practice session. A session largely dominated by Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
On track from the first minutes of these FP1, the Dutchman was fast on a track that he was barely discovering like most of his counterparts. In the lead with the hard tires, Max Verstappen considerably improved his time when he fitted the soft tires to his RB16B.

Alone in the world, the Batavian logically finished in the lead with a lap in 1'23"723, making him the only driver below the 1'24 mark. Embark on the car from the championship leader to discover the Losail track, the latest addition to the 2021 season calendar.
