Pascal Wehrlein will be entered at the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix contested this weekend on the Sakhir circuit.
The 2015 champion of DTM missed the first two races of the season, in Melbourne (Australia) and Shanghai (China) while continuing his convalescence following his accident last January during the Race of Champions in Miami (Florida) where he rolled over .

Pascal Wehrlein was replaced by Antonio Giovinazzi in the Sauber C36 at the start of the season, after indicating at the end of the first tests for the Australian GP that he did not feel able to cover the distance of a race. If the Italian made a promising debut at the Australian GP, the Shanghai meeting was more complicated sincehe destroyed his car twice.
