Williams: Susie Wolff to retire from motorsport

We will still have to wait before seeing a woman in F1. Williams Racing announced that Susie Wolff was about to retire from motorsport. The wife of Toto Wolff, the executive chairman of Mercedes Motorsport, was a development driver with the Grove team since April 2012 before becoming a test driver. Susie Wolff had a promising test by taking part in the first Friday sessions at the British and German Grands Prix in 2014. “I’m closing a chapter but I’m looking forward to new challenges in my life.”, she commented. Susie Wolff will take part in the Race of Champions on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium in London.
