Leader for a good part of the first quarter of the race at the 24 Hours of Spa, and for several hours second behind the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT29 – Montaplast by Land Motorsport, the No. 3 Bentley Continental GT8 – Team M-Sport saw his progress cut short, following contact with the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°488 – Rinaldi Racing.
Maxime Soulet brought the car back to idle in the pit lane, before the M-Sport mechanics worked on the steering to finally restart the car five laps later with Vincent Abril behind the wheel but well beyond the top 30.
