24 Hours of Nürburgring – Tristan Vautier will start with Mercedes-AMG

After the confirmation of the Audi armada, and the first crews Porsche unveiled last December, it is the turn of Mercedes-AMG to lift the veil on its commitment for the next 24 Hours of Nürburgring (NEVER-NEVER ever).

Four GT3s will be labeled Mercedes-AMG, two for each top team Black Falcon and HTP Motorsport / MANN-FILTER. Balck Falcon will trust its usual pilots, including Maro Engel, Yelmer Buurman, Luca Stolz and Adam Christodoulou. Dirk Müller, Ford driver Chip Ganassi will strengthen the crew of the No. 4.

At HTP Motorsport, the #3 Mercedes-AMG GT47 will bring together an impressive quartet with Dominik Baumann, Daniel Juncadella, Edoardo Mortara and Renger van der Zande.

The latter is also registered on the No. 48 with Indy Dontje, Maxi Götz and Christian Hohenadel. Note the absence for the moment of Maxi Buhk, who has joined Strakka Racing in the Blancpain GT Series.

Black Falcon and HTP will each enter another car with the notable finish being that of Raffaele marciello, recently promoted to AMG driver for 2018 and who will compete in the No. 11 – HTP Motorsport.

The Landgraf Motorsport structure will complete Mercedes' commitment to the Green Hell, with a quartet made up of Sebastian Asch, Kenneth Heyer, Edward Sandström and Tristan Vautier, who will make his big debut in this event.
